Meet Roshelle

From Unheard to Healer: My Personal Path

I'm Roshelle — Clinical Nutritionist, Naturopath, Pilates lover, and coffee enthusiast, based in Brisbane, Australia. But before I was the practitioner, I was the patient.

I have been exactly where you are — the bloating that takes over your day, the gut that has you forging a bathroom contingency plan, the anxiety that sits underneath everything and never quite switches off. The frustration of going to doctor after doctor and being handed normal results when nothing about how you feel is normal. The exhaustion of trying diet after diet, supplement after supplement, plan after plan — and watching results disappear every time life got complicated, which it always does.

I also know what it is to have a difficult relationship with your weight. To work hard for something, feel it within reach, and then watch it quietly unravel when the approach was never actually sustainable. To be given generic advice from people who had never sat with the complexity of what was really going on.

That was my life before I understood what was actually happening in my body. Before I understood that my gut and my nervous system were in a constant conversation with each other — and that until someone looked at both, nothing was going to change. Before I had the clinical framework that finally gave me the answers the medical system never could.

So I went back to study. Clinical Nutrition. Then Naturopathy. Because I needed to understand what the medical model kept missing. And what I found changed everything — for me, and for every woman I have worked with since.

When you tell me you have been dismissed, that you have tried everything, that you are exhausted by your own body — I am not just nodding along. I know. I genuinely, completely know.

Why I work differently.

In 13 years of clinical practice, I've watched the health industry become increasingly overwhelming — more supplements, more protocols, more conflicting advice, more stress layered on top of the stress that was already there. Most of my clients come to me exhausted, not just by their symptoms, but by the sheer weight of trying to fix them.

My philosophy is different. We start with the most impactful, most manageable change — not the most impressive-looking protocol. We build on it. We adjust as your body responds. And we never add complexity until you're ready for it.

In the GLP-1 space specifically, this matters enormously. Women on these medications are already navigating significant physical change. The last thing they need is a 47-step supplement plan and a meal prep schedule that takes six hours on Sunday.

I also ensure we are looking through a nutritional lens before we introduce supplements. Especially on GLP-1, where appetite drops significantly, food becomes your most powerful clinical tool. We look at what your body is actually getting — and what it's quietly missing. We build from there. Not a supplement list. A real nutrition foundation for long term results.

My clinical background is rooted in chronic gut and hormone conditions — which matters more in the GLP-1 space than most people realise. These medications change gut motility, disrupt hormonal balance, and alter the gut microbiome in ways that need clinical attention, not guesswork. I have been working with chronic gut and hormonal clients for 13 years. So when GLP-1 creates these changes in my clients, I already know exactly what I'm looking at.

Your GLP-1 journey should feel supported, because your to-do list is already long enough.

MY QUALIFICATIONS

The clinical background behind the approach.

  • Bachelor of Health Science — Clinical Nutrition

  • Bachelor of Health Science — Naturopathy

  • 13 years of clinical practice across gut health, hormones, and nervous system dysregulation

  • Specialist focus: women on GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy

  • Experience with functional testing — micronutrient panels, hormonal testing and gut microbiome analysis

My dual qualifications are what makes this approach genuinely different. A nutritionist addresses food. A naturopath addresses the whole system — herbal medicine, nervous system regulation, hormonal pathways. I do both, which means nothing falls through the cracks.

A PERSONAL NOTE

I know what it's like when your body feels like it's working against you.

I've experienced the exhausting loop of stress affecting gut health, gut health affecting hormones, and hormones making the stress worse. I know the frustration of being told everything looks 'normal' when nothing feels normal. My personal experience is part of why I do this work — and why I take the complexity of your symptoms seriously, even when others haven't.

But this isn't my story — it's yours. And my job is to help you write a better version.

Let’s talk about what your body actually needs.

If you're on a GLP-1 medication — or considering one — and you want clinical support that goes beyond the prescription, I'd love to connect.
